Senior Civil Engineer in Brisbane, QLD

ABOUT YOU

• An Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
• Degree in civil engineering or equivalent qualifications.
• A minimum of 10 years demonstrated local experience in civil design and documentation of earthworks, drainage, road works and sewer/water.
• Competent in the use of 12d, AutoCAD, Drains, Music, and Hec-Ras/Tu-flow as well as MS Project and MS suite.
• Thorough understanding of Service Authority design approval and construction standards.
• Proven leadership and strong communication skills.
• Local experience working for an engineering consultancy.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Overseeing design of multiple large Industrial Civil projects, alongside the director of Civil.
• Providing guidance and technical support to junior members.
• Design Management and Project Management of Urban Development projects, ensuring that the delivery projects meet the time, quality, and budgetary targets.
• Develop and maintain Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Management Systems.
• Liaise with clients, authorities and stakeholders on project progress and issues.
