Senior Associate Director/Team Lead - Civil Consultancy in Western Sydney, NSW

Our client is a highly respected Engineering Consultancy, and they are seeking a Senior Associate Director - Civil Engineer / Team Lead.

This is one of those very special roles that doesn't come up often. If you have 15 years experience in Engineering Consultancy - in Civil Engineering and proven team leadership, and project management track record - this may be your next career move.

ABOUT YOU:

• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Chartered Civil Engineer (CPEng).
• A minimum of 15 years Civil Design experience.
• Proven career in the local Sydney Market.
• Experience across urban land development, preferred. Industrial, Residential, Commercial, Public Infrastructure/Domain.
• Strong Leadership and Team management skills - is a must.
• Knowledge and proficiency utilising relevant software packages, including 12D, DRAINS, MUSIC and AutoCAD, according to Australian Design Standards.
• First class communication skills - written and verbal.
• Capability to work in a team orientated environment to meet deadlines.
• Business Development experience will be key.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Provide assistance in the management of the existing business and contribute to its continued growth.
• Design Management and Project Management of major Urban Development projects.
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time and to standards.
• Lead an existing and growing team in Sydney.
• Develop, implement and follow strategic plans.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
